IBB UNIVERSITY FIXES 2017/2018 ADMISSION CUT OFF MARK AT 160

Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida University, Lapai, Niger State, has fixed this 2017/2018 admission cut off mark at 160.
Prof. Muhammed Nasiru Maiturare, (The University’s Vice- Chancellor)  he said in an interview with the press member on 29th August, 2017 hosted in Minna, he also added that the number represents 40% of the total performance of candidates who have choose the university (Ibb University in their 2017 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examinations (UTME).
Meanwhile, the minimum 160 cut off mark decided on by the university after the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) released their own Cut off mark at 120. He said each candidates must have at least 3 O’ Level credits in relevant subjects including Mathamatics and Engliah Language, with correct UTME subjects Combination, among other requirements.
Moreover, the university’s admission portal will soon be open for candidates to upload their credentials ahead of admission screening.
It will be recalled that the official cut off mark for this year’s admission is 120, but universities have however been given the permission to fix their respective cut off marks and to conduct screening for candidates.
At the press briefing includes the university’s Deputy Vice-Chancellor Academic, Deputy Vice-Chancellor Administration, the Registrar, the Bursar, Director Academic Planning, Academic Secretary, Dean of Students’ Affairs, among others.
