Toke Makinwa - Revealed How Her Parents joked of dying together and it happened To Them

Toke Makinwa, a Radio Presenter, Television host and author, revealed that her parents once joked about dying the same day and it happened to them.
Makinwa had in her book which she entitled ‘On Becoming’, revealed how a gas cylinder leaked and led to the fire incident that killed her parents when she was at age of 8-years-old.

Toke’s parents, Mr. Caleb Ifemayowa and Modupe Monica Makinwa were 35 and 34 years old respectively, when they died.

She said, “My parents, (God rest their souls) had the best love story ever. I was young but I remember my dad’s eyes lit up every time he saw my mum.

“I remember she changed her hairstyle one time and he walked in and the first thing he noticed was her hair was different.

“They joked about dying together, perfect ride/die and it happened. They were buried side by side.”
